CEN TC 402 - Domestic Pools and Spas NORMAPME Mirror Committee

This is the Mirror Committee for TC 402 - Domestic Pools and Spas. The Mirror Committee is the group of SMEs that support the NORMAPME expert in presenting the views of SMEs during the drafting of standard.

CEN/TC 402 is in charge of standardization in the field of domestic swimming pools, spas andother types of pools and their related materials, equipment and accessories, used fordomestic/private purposes.

The sector of domestic swimming pools is a young one constantly growing up over the last fifteen years and now estimated at about 3.73 millions privately owned swimming pools in Europe.

The stakeholders’ mapping of CEN/TC 402 is the following:

• Constructors, installers and retailers;



• Manufacturers, importers, suppliers and distributors;



• Testing houses;



• Public authorities (including some Consumers Agencies);



• Consumers
